CONTINUOUS OPEN BIDDING
Continuous Open Bidding (COB) is a form of recruitment that Theta participates in, and it begins after Formal Recruitment has concluded, and it lasts throughout the academic year. COB in Kappa Alpha Theta offers women the chance to participate in an informal process of recruitment, and have the opportunity to become a member of a sorority.

Although I made my way to theta in an unconventional way, COB-ing was the best decision I ever made. Almost immediately after walking into Theta and being greeted with the biggest, most genuine smiles, and lots of bad jokes, I knew it was my house. After COB-ing, Theta welcomed us new members with open arms and made us feel at home right away, integrating us into the sisterhood with so much love and a lot of laughs. This sisterhood is a special one and I’m so thankful I decided to participate in COB-ing; I wouldn’t have my best friends without it. -Sarah Pickel
