SISTERHOOD

SISTERHOODS & BONDING EVENTS

At Theta, we believe the bonds of sisterhood are something that can never be broken. We are so grateful to be surrounded by a group of such charismatic, intelligent, and caring women.

Each semester in order to celebrate and increase our ties as sisters, our Sisterhood Chair puts on a series of fun and exciting events for us to participate in from hot coco nights to flower picking!

SOCIALS

Getting to know other members of the Greek Community is very important to Theta. To do this we plan events with other fraternities and sororities. We have enjoyed movie nights, pumpkin carvings, mini golfing, game nights, ornament decorating, camp trips, lip-sync battles, breakfast dates, ice skating, soccer/flag football games and much more. We also have a formal, Bettie's Ball, following the initiation of our new members and another formal in the Spring.

VANDAL PRIDE

Theta loves the Vandals through and through. You can find us cheering on the Vandals during game days, homecoming week, and so much more.

We love to wear our school colors, sing the fight song, and celebrate the fact that we are lucky enough to be part of this Vandal family. Theta has held the title of "Most Vandalized Fan" for two years in a row, and we have made the top three in Homecoming for three years straight!

BIG/LITTLE

This is our favorite time of the year because we get to show love towards our new members as their big sister surprises them for a few days with gifts and love! At the end of this time, the new member's Big is revealed, and it is a fun celebration full of excitement and many family pictures.

Our Big Little program is made to help the new members have another support system within Theta, and helps the new members navigate through life as a sorority member, and as a new student to the university.

KAT MAN

Annually we allow our members to nominate men on campus to be our KAT Man. Our KAT Man is someone that our members see as a big brother figure, and also embodies Kappa Alpha Theta's values. Most importantly, he is a friend to all members.

Meet the 2019-2020 KAT Man, Jose Ortiz! Jose is a member of the PIKE fraternity on campus, and holds the position of External Vice President. He is majoring in Fishery Resources, and we all know he is going to do amazing things! We love you, Jose, and appreciate all you do for our chapter!
